Adding a custom board to the Arduino IDE

I recently worked with a version of the LilyPad, that’s actually operating on a ATmega328 and clock speed of 16 MHz instead of 8 MHz. I stumbled across this issue recognizing some cryptic output on the serial monitor, which was fine after adjusting the baud rate.

After figuring out that, the clockspeed is kind of too high, I had to update the boards description to upload my sketches to this specific board. Doing so, I simply added a custom entry to the boards.txt, which can be found at your local system under {ARDUINO}/hardware/arduino/boards.txt.
